BACKGROUND IN GENERAL

Father was a dynamic adventurer iconoclast who disappeared while exploring an ancient dwarfland.

Raised by grandfather according to ancient dwarven customs. Learned the blacksmithing trade, a family tradition for generations.

Hit the road as a mercenary-adventurer when grandfather passed away.

As a sergeant with the Vermillion Vanguard mercenary company (“the Vermillions”), participated in numerous campaigns, most notably on the side of trecherous Duke Naius in his failed bid for power. The war left the Vermillions in a shambles.

Put his mercenary career behind him and journeyed west, pursuing rumor of his father’s passage.

Penniless and thirsty, arrived in Red Shore to look up old friends and resupply.
